  • Flexible Dining: Includes a clever indoor table that attaches to the kitchen rail, plus a hidden outdoor table and chairs stored within the sliding door and tailgate

Insurance & Cancellation Policy

  • Basic CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): Included (Standard deductible of approx. 350,000 ISK).
  • TP (Theft Protection): Included for the vehicle.
  • TPL (Third Party Liability): Mandatory legal coverage included
  • Note: For the California 4x4, we highly recommend the Zero Risk upgrade to cover gravel damage, as this vehicle is often used on rocky F-roads
  • 100% Refund: Cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before pick-up for a full refund of any amount paid
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of pick-up (or no-shows) result in a 100% cancellation fee

2026 Road Tax & Payment Notice

In accordance with Iceland’s 2026 regulations, fuel prices at the pump have been reduced by 30%. A mandatory road tax of ISK 6.95 per km (approx. €0.06 / $0.05) applies to this vehicle. 

Some vendors might charge a modest administration fee.

Payment: Your total distance driven will be calculated at the end of your trip, and the final amount will be charged to your credit card automatically at the end of the rental period.
