The Renault Master 5 is one of the largest and most practical campervans available. Designed for groups of up to five, it features a clever bunk-bed system and a high-roof design that allows most adults to stand comfortably inside.

While it is a 2WD vehicle, it is perfect for the Ring Road, the Golden Circle, and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula; however, it is not permitted on F-roads. For a classic tour around Iceland's coastline, it provides a reliable and spacious home base that saves you the cost of booking multiple hotel rooms.

Insurance & Cancellation Policy

  • Basic CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): Included (Standard deductible of approx. 350,000 ISK)
  • TP (Theft Protection): Included for the vehicle
  • TPL (Third Party Liability): Mandatory coverage included by law
  • 100% Refund: You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before pick-up for a full refund of any amount paid
  • Late Cancellation/No-Show: Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of pick-up, or failure to show up, result in a 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

2026 Road Tax & Payment Notice

In accordance with Iceland’s 2026 regulations, fuel prices at the pump have been reduced by 30%. A mandatory road tax of ISK 6.95 per km (approx. €0.06 / $0.05) applies to this vehicle. 

Some vendors might charge a modest administration fee.

Payment: Your total distance driven will be calculated at the end of your trip, and the final amount will be charged to your credit card automatically at the end of the rental period.
