Caving & snorkeling in Silfra
Yes, you are going caving and snorkeling on the same tour!
A unique opportunity to experience Iceland from a new angle.
After we pick you up from Reykjavík, we start with the black part of the tour by exploring a lava tube cave close to Reykjavik. This adventure gives you a great insight into the volcanic activities that formed Iceland. Depending on the season, we go either to Leidarendi cave or Gjábakkahellir cave. Both caves are typical lava tubes.
After we finish the caving, you will have a chance to grab some lunch between the two activities.
Next up is Thingvellir National Park to snorkel in Silfra fissure. Get ready to explore the deep blue by putting on a dry suit and other snorkeling gear. Your guide leads you through the marvels of this crystal clear water wonderland. Some say Silfra is one of the best freshwater snorkeling places in the world.
